Essential Job Functions:
• Maintain HRIS records, perform data entry, and compile reports from the system for analysis, compliance, or upon request
• Administer workers’ compensation claims: investigate new claims, ensure compliance with laws and policies, manage medical providers, case managers, and adjusters, authorize medical treatment, and facilitate communication between injured workers, HR, and supervisors
• Administer FMLA leaves, including tracking, documentation, and compliance with federal and state regulations
• Support ADA accommodations by coordinating interactive processes, reasonable accommodations, and related documentation

• Answer phone calls for general employment inquiries and basic employee questions on benefits, policies, procedures, and other HR matters
• Process new hire paperwork and background checks
• Prepare offer letters and termination letters
• Work closely with managers and payroll department on matters of employee pay (incorrect payments, contractual increases, etc.)
• Serve as initial point of contact for employee relations matters
• Provide administrative support to the HR function through record keeping, file maintenance, correspondence generation, and data entry
• Assist in day-to-day office operations (greeting employees, answering requests, processing Personnel Action Forms, etc.)
• Assist HR Department in carrying out various employee programs (Health Fair, Holiday Party, Recognition Night, etc.)
• Special projects as assigned
• Other general HR duties as assigned

Target Hourly Range: $26.00
