More Than a Job: What Working at Bally's Really Feels Like
Working at Bally's is like nothing else. Whatever your role, wherever your location, it's more than just clocking in and getting on with it. It's finding somewhere you can belong, thrive, and grow. Here's what Amin had to say about what it's like to be part of the Bally's team.
Community isn't something you put on a poster
A lot of companies talk about culture. But what's hard to fake is the feeling of actually belonging somewhere.
When VIP Account Manager, Amin, joined Bally's, he expected a job. But what he found was a place where people genuinely look out for each other, celebrate wins together, and push each other to grow. And this support was built into how people showed up every single day to create the best experiences possible.
Amin says, "That atmosphere has changed the way I think about my career. It's not just about the work I do, but the people I get to do it with, and the space Bally's creates for all of us to keep evolving."
The moment it clicked
Early on in his Bally's journey, Amin was working through an issue that an employee had been quietly struggling with for a while.
Rather than watching it get lost in the crowd or brushed aside, Amin was encouraged to dig in, understand the root of the problem, and bring forward a solution. And that got the ball rolling. Conversations opened up, teams got involved, and before long something meaningful had changed. The employee felt supported and Amin realized he'd helped make that happen.
"That was the moment I thought, 'this is exactly where I'm supposed to be'. It taught me that Bally's is a place where you can influence the culture, advocate for people, and see your efforts turn into improvements that matter."
What makes Bally's special to Amin?
"If there's one story that captures what makes Bally's special to me, it's how I met Ronnie. The person I proudly call my 'brother from another'."
When Amin first started out in his career, Ronnie was his supervisor and eventually his manager. He wasn't just someone who taught Amin the ropes. He shaped the way Amin thinks about leadership, communication, and what it means to keep humanity at the centre of the work.
Over time, their relationship went from mentorship to friendship to even becoming like family. Ronnie has five brothers, and along the way, Amin became known as the sixth brother — a nickname he wears with pride.
To Amin, this story reminds him "that a workplace can be more than a place you clock into. It can be a source of connection, growth, and relationships that stay with you long after the day is done." And that's exactly what Bally's is about.
Finding joy in seeing others succeed
For someone in a people-focused role like Amin, he finds joy in the moments when something clicks for someone else — when a colleague overcomes a challenge they weren't sure they could handle or takes a step they didn't think they were ready for.
"I find fun seeing people succeed. It means using my experience to help others reach new levels and watching those moments of growth turn into lasting impact."
